Quad biking lets you admire the vast desert landscape with its massive sand dunes. While you are on the tour experiencing the ride, you can also stop for refreshments provided as a part of the tour package. In the mornings, quad biking tours begin at around 9 AM and in the evenings at around 3-3.30 PM. However, these times can change during the winter and summer seasons based on the time of sunset.

When you book one of these tours in Abu Dhabi, you will be picked up and dropped off at your desired location in a Land Cruiser. In addition to enjoying a thrilling quad bike ride in the Al Khatim Desert, you can also experience activities such as sand skiing, camel rides, pictures with falcons, and more as a part of the tour package customised based on your requirements.

If you are only here for the quad biking experience, you can choose to use the quad bike rental services available. You can book a quad bike for 1 hour and witness the beauty of the desert on a quad bike. If you are trying it for the first time, you still have nothing to worry! Our professional team of quad bike instructors will be available to assist you with an introductory session conducted before the ride begins. This session will also include a briefing on safety procedures and rules to be followed when riding a quad bike in the desert. While you ride your quad bike, you will not be alone your instructor will be there with you throughout the ride to guide you and attend to you in the case of an emergency.

Additional Information

  • For pick-up, guests are asked to remain in the hotel lobby or near the mall's main entrance.
  • Six passengers will be accommodated in the Land Cruiser on a shared basis.
  • Times duration or start/stop times may change due to weather conditions.
  • Please strictly adhere to all guidelines provided by the Safari Marshal.
  • Take care of your belongings.
  • Recommended attire: Loose, comfortable clothing with a sweater to keep you warm after dark in the summer. Flip flops are preferred more than shoes for comfort (if you intend sports shoes). Bring sunglasses, a sun hat and sunscreen. In the winter long clothes with jackets are recommended.
  • Have a light meal before the trip to help avoid nausea. It’s best to avoid food 2-3 hours before the journey begins.
  • On other religious holidays, there will be no entertainment activities in the camps as per the UAE law. The government will announce the dates prior.

We pick-up our guests from all Abu Dhabi city hotels, malls, residences, Airport (Airport premier inn hotel lobby) and Port (Abu Dhabi port exit gate) and other landmarks in Abu Dhabi. To confirm your pick up time our tours manager will be in touch to advise the exact pick up time.
