Once you have made a reservation for a camel riding tour in Abu Dhabi, you will be picked up from your hotel or any other preferred location and taken directly to the desert where the camel riding tours happen. The camel trekking tour is offered as a part of the Abu Dhabi desert safari tour and can last up to 60 minutes.
The beauty of this location is enhanced much more towards sunset. Hence, many choose to go camel trekking during these times. We also believe camel trekking in Abu Dhabi is best when it’s close to sunset—you can witness the beauty of the desert on the back of a camel. During your ride, you’ll feel the serenity of the Arabian desert as the camel moves at a slow pace. After the ride, you can visit a traditional Arab camp, where you will be greeted with Arabic coffee, tea, sweets, and dates. With the time spent on commuting, this total tour can go up to about 3 hours.
Children under the age of five are not permitted to ride the camels. This adventure is not recommended for pregnant women, individuals with heart difficulties, other significant medical disorders, or anyone with back problems. Please keep in mind that youngsters participating in the safari and expedition will be under the supervision and responsibility of their parents. All trips are based on availability. It would be great if can you make a reservation for camel rides at least 48 hours ahead of time. Also, remember to wear clothes and footwear you’ll be comfortable in—especially during seasons like winter (between October-March); make sure to wear clothes that keep you warm! At the end of the camel trekking desert tour, you will be driven off to your hotel or chosen destination as well. So, transportation is not an issue!
